Researchers warn of drug-resistant HIV strains

Researchers at the Uganda Virus Research Institute are warning of a projected increase in people with cases of drug resistant HIV. The acting director of the institute, Dr. Pontiano Kaleebu, says the HIV cells in which genetic recombination has occurred reduce the lifespan of a person living with HIV.
